A reference helps narrow the range; it does not turn a photo into a scale. If the reference looks mis-detected, Weighly falls back to a wider photo-only estimate.

A good estimate
knows its limits.

Weighly estimates weight from a photo. Lighting, angle, occlusion, unusual shapes, and a missing reference can all widen the range. Use it for a useful sense of scale — not for legal, medical, or commercial decisions.

Server-side estimate records are deleted after 90 days; history you save stays on your device.
